1963 Bally Star-Jet pinball machine Building Location: Herm_E2 Game Type = EM
The 1963 Bally Starjet was the third game
made by Bally in their 1963 re-introduction to
pinball. From 1958 to 1962, Bally didn't make
any pinball games (just arcade games, slot machines,
and bingo games.) The Star-Jet was a great machine
with only 1050 units made. It has 2 or 3 ball multi-ball (much
like the 1956 Bally Balls-a-popin and 1957 Bally Circus).
Multi-ball was a rarity in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Also the art package for Star-Jet is pretty great too.
An almost Jetsons type theme with very pretty young ladies!
Design by Ted Zale and artwork by George Molentin.
This is the actual game at the VFW Pinball Museum.
